Wipe and lift
Wipe the shell with the cloth in the box so it’s dry and dust-free. Peel the skin off its backing from one grip, slowly.

Line up the holes
Hold the skin just above the controller. Move it until the stick holes, d-pad and keys all sit inside their cut-outs.

Press from the middle
Touch down at the centre first, then smooth out toward each grip with your thumbs. Lift and retry if an edge sits wrong.
Three small tips
Room temperature
Cold skins are stiff. Leave the box out for an hour first.
Centre first
Starting in the middle pushes air out toward the edges.
Lift and retry
The adhesive lets go cleanly, so a second try costs nothing.
